General Service Technician

The General Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of a wide range of vehicles and equipment within the automotive industry. This position involves conducting thorough inspections and performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of automotive vehicles. The technician will be responsible for identifying potential issues early through detailed safety inspections and addressing them promptly to maintain compliance with industry standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in automotive service or general vehicle maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and safety inspection procedures.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and fluid replacements.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate service vehicles safely.

• Certification from an accredited automotive service technician program.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a service‑oriented environment within the 'Other Services' industry sector.

• Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicles and equipment to assess condition and identify maintenance needs.
