Overview
The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Maintenance Technician located at the Remarketing Lot, 1800 W Watkins St., a component of the Sky Harbor Airport Service Centers. The Maintenance Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in‑fleet service, and vehicle reconditioning service in accordance with company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative, with focus on customer needs and adherence to our Quality Standards.
The position is full time (40 hours per week). Schedule- Sky Harbor 1st Shift: Wednesday – Saturday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm;
Sunday – Wednesday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm. - Sky Harbor 2nd Shift: Tuesday – Saturday 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm;
Sunday – Thursday 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm.
1st Shift pays $19.00/hour (with two years of professional experience: $20.00/hour). 2nd Shift pays an additional $1.00/hour, plus an additional $1.00/hour for A5 brake certification and $0.50/hour for each ASE certification (A1, A2, A4‑A8) for both shifts. Shift premium pay:
Saturday and Sunday shifts receive an additional $2.50/hour.
- Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspections, including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
- Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Repair and replace tires and wearable parts such as bulbs and wipers.
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting repair orders (RO) accurately.
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services.
- Process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy‑backs as needed.
- Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with uniform and equipment standards.
- Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
- Maintain a regular, reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
- Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
- Minimum one year of mechanical automotive repair experience in a professional environment within the last five years.
- Ownership of standard hand tools required for basic maintenance and repair.
- Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents on the record within the past three years.
- No drug or alcohol related convictions (DUI/DWI) on driving record within the past three years.
- Authorized to work in the United States and not requiring sponsorship now or in future.
- Will complete a pre‑employment drug test and be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
- Minimum age 18 years.
