At our Phoenix MRO, we specialize in the repair of electronic components for aircraft. As a technician with our team, you will have one of the most critical roles—testing and troubleshooting units to keep our customers flying.
External candidates will receive a sign-on bonus of $3,000.
What You Will Do- Testing a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures
- Setting up and operating various test stands
- Configuring test equipment for special tests as needed
- Interpreting and recording test results
- Recognizing and isolating test equipment failures
- Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level
- Reading and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics
- Communicating work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)
- Utilizing theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components
- Reading and interpret technical data
- Writing in a clear and concise technical manner
- Utilizing computer skills and software applications
- 3rd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 pm - 6:00 am
- Training
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm for ~60 days
- Enhance your skills in testing and troubleshooting in electronic components.
- Gain insights into reading and interpreting complex technical data and engineering prints.
- Learn best practices in chemical handling and workplace safety.
- Develop effective communication and teamwork skills within a collaborative environment.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with reading or interpreting schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
- Experience with using multimeters or oscilloscopes.
- Electrical Technician Certification
- Associates Degree in Electronics
- Prior experience with component level troubleshooting
- 3+ years of relevant experience
