The front counter is where trust gets built. If you can explain a repair in plain language and keep people in the loop, we want to talk. Two minutes to apply.
The role
The voice of the shop.A service advisor at Network Automotive is the person the customer actually talks to. You greet them, listen to what the vehicle is doing, write up the ticket, and hand it to the technicians with enough detail that they can get to work.
When the diagnosis comes back, you translate it. No jargon, no pressure, no upselling. You explain what we found, what it takes to fix it, what can wait, and what it will cost, then you wait for the customer's approval before anything happens. That approach is why about 75% of our customers are repeat customers.
The rest of the job is keeping things moving: parts, scheduling, status updates, and the call at the end of the day that tells someone their car is ready.
Day to dayGreeting customers, writing repair orders, reviewing digital inspections with technicians, quoting work, ordering parts, scheduling, and following up until the vehicle is picked up.
What we look forService advisor or front counter experience in automotive repair is ideal. Strong communication, organization under pressure, comfort with shop software, and a valid driver's license.
Automotive knowledgeYou do not need to turn wrenches, but you should understand what the technicians are telling you well enough to explain it to a customer who does not.
