Full-Time | $30–$40/hour Flat Rate

Elliott's Auto Electric is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician with 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience and strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills to join our Phoenix team.

This is a hands-on technician role for someone who is comfortable independently diagnosing vehicle concerns, reading wiring diagrams, using modern scan tools, and performing major mechanical repairs, including engine and transmission removal and replacement.

Pay & Schedule

• Flat-rate pay:
  Approximately $30–$40 per hour
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of customer vehicles
• Identify electrical and mechanical malfunctions using modern diagnostic scanners and equipment
• Diagnose engine and transmission issues
• Remove and replace engines and transmissions
• Diagnose and repair differential-related issues
• Diagnose automotive air conditioning systems
• Read and interpret automotive wiring diagrams
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs accurately and efficiently
• Communicate clearly and professionally regarding vehicle concerns and repairs

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong automotive electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Ability to independently diagnose vehicle concerns using modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment
• Experience reading and interpreting automotive wiring diagrams
• Experience diagnosing engine and transmission concerns
• Hands-on experience with engine and transmission removal and replacement
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license

Additional Experience We're Looking For

• Automotive A/C system diagnostics
• Differential diagnostics and repair
• Experience troubleshooting complex electrical concerns
• Experience working across a variety of vehicle makes and models
