Accounting Specialist - East Valley

Vaco Phoenix is partnering with an East Valley company to identify a contract Accounting Specialist to support high‑volume daily bank reconciliations tied to corporate P‑card activity. This role is a minimum 3‑month contract, paying up to $27 per hour, fully on‑site for training with a hybrid schedule afterward.

• Perform daily bank reconciliations for corporate P‑card activity across multiple entities.
• Review and code transactions to the appropriate cost centers within Workday.
• Retrieve receipts and supporting documentation for travel‑related expenses (hotels, car rentals, flights) using the expense management platform.
• Attach required documentation to transactions in Workday and route for manager approval.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

• 3+ years of hands‑on transactional accounting experience.
• Experience working within an ERP system (Workday or similar preferred).
