Accounts Receivable Representative

Southwest Mobile Storage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative based on performance and business needs. This individual will be responsible for managing past-due accounts, securing timely payments, and maintaining professional relationships throughout the collections process. Pay Rate $22-$25.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contact customers with delinquent accounts to negotiate and establish payment plans.
• Prioritize accounts to ensure effective follow-up and resolution within target timelines.
• Professionally manage escalated collection situations and resolve them constructively.
• Perform light skip tracing to help locate clients with outdated or missing contact information.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all communications, agreements, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues efficiently.
• Meet departmental collection targets while upholding company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• 2-year prior experience in collections, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Familiarity with skip tracing techniques is a plus.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.
