Tax Manager

We are seeking a Tax Manager who is eager to elevate their career, build a growing function, and work directly with ownership in a high-visibility role. This is a rare opportunity for an emerging tax professional to step into a leadership-track position where they can build out the tax function and add direct reports as the team expands.

• Lead all tax-related activities across a multi-entity, acquisition-driven organization
• Manage federal, state, and local tax filings, compliance, and reporting
• Support tax strategy during acquisitions, integrations, and new store openings
• Partner closely with ownership and the executive team, delivering clear, confident communication and recommendations
• Serve as a subject matter expert for tax implications of organizational growth and restructuring
• Build scalable processes and prepare to lead at least one direct report in the near future

• 4+ years of tax experience in either:
• Public accounting or
• Corporate tax within a multi-entity or healthcare organization
• CPA preferred

• Demonstrated experience with tax compliance, planning, and multi-state environments
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to operate independently
• Excellent communication and executive presence—this role works directly with ownership
• Desire for growth into a management role as the company continues to scale
