Job Description
As a Sr Payroll Specialist at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to our employees. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify business needs, implement best practices, and drive process improvements in payroll management. As a subject matter expert, you will provide guidance and support to the payroll team, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Additionally, you will play a key role in driving payroll‑related projects and initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our payroll operations.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell by improving payroll accuracy, ensuring compliance with payroll‑related laws and regulations, and enhancing the efficiency of payroll operations.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage end‑to‑end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and benefits to employees
- Provide guidance and support to the payroll team, ensuring compliance with payroll‑related laws and regulations
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and technology enhancements to optimize payroll operations
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners
You must have
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of US payroll processes, laws, and regulations
- Experience with payroll software and systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive process enhancements
