Overview

"As the Lead Technology Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic product development roadmap for customer facing platforms, online workflow solutions, and high quality product features and experiences that support defined business goals. This roadmap places significant emphasis on workflow solutions that leverage content, Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), and advanced technologies."

You will bring experience in content processing, content indexing, search applications, and emerging applications of GenAI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in professional research. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross functional teams to support product development and lifecycle management. You will partner closely with colleagues in product strategy, marketing, technology, content operations, user experience, customer service, and subject matter experts (SMEs).

This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Product Management Director.

Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Product Director to create and manage a customer and business value driven development roadmap, including ROI analysis.
  • Drive go to market strategy and execution for new features and workflow solutions. Partner with marketing, sales, and enablement teams to ensure strong positioning, to achieve successful launch, user adoption, and feedback collection.
  • Use the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) framework to define, measure, and communicate product goals, success metrics, and business impact.
  • Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices to improve workflows, products, processes, and services.
  • Provide vision and direction to Agile teams and key business stakeholders, including executives and cross functional partners. Align stakeholders around this vision for workflow solutions or product lines
  • Lead projects across complex functional areas with varying resource requirements, risk, and scope.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis.
  • Define, refine, and optimize user journeys within workflow solutions.
  • Engage deeply with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate problem statements, requirements, and solution design.
  • Design, recruit, and facilitate user cohorts for concept validation, prototype testing, and ongoing insights into how customers interact with workflow solutions.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams in developing, launching, marketing, and supporting workflow solution products.
  • Represent Product Management in development planning, release management, and maintenance efforts.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, including GenAI and LLMs, and assess opportunities for product innovation.
  • Support marketing and sales teams by providing product expertise, messaging input, enablement materials, and competitive positioning.
Qualifications

What are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees with research exposure are a plus.
  • Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience
  • 8+ years of product management experience.
  • 10+ years working on design and development of online research products and workflow solutions.
  • 5+ years as a product manager working with content and search platforms, including some experience with GenAI applications.
  • 8+ years using Lean and Agile methodologies to plan, define, and build products and solutions, with a strong focus on adoption, engagement, and usage.
  • Demonstrated experience applying the OKR framework to drive product outcomes and cross functional alignment.
  • Proven experience in managing GTM strategy and working closely with marketing and sales teams.
  • Meaningful experience engaging SMEs and facilitating structured user cohorts or user research programs.
  • Medical research or medical product development experience is a plus.
