** Position Summary/

Purpose:

** THIS IS A SUMMER POSITION WITH OPTION TO START PRIOR TO SUMMER. GCU City Serve received shipments of returned, overstock, or discontinued models of products from big box retailers such as Costco, Amazon, and Walmart. The purpose of this position is to help inventory, sort, and organize incoming and existing inventory. This role is crucial to our overall success as an organization.

The perfect candidate for this position would have great attention to detail as well as being self-motivated.
** Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/

Essential Functions:

** Deconstruct and inventory incoming pallets of goods Sort items from the pallets into the correct sections of the warehouse Ensure items are correctly placed in the warehouse Other duties as assigned
** Equipment Used and Responsibility
*** Attention to detail to ensure items are sorted accordingly.
* Be a self-motivated and find areas of the warehouse that need attention
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate positively with team members.
*
* Qualifications:

*** Available to work 20 hours per week during GCU City Serve hours of operation
** Experience/  Education

* Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
* Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
* Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
* You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
