UCT is looking for a talented Director, Digital Transformation Program to join us in Hayward, CA, Phoenix, AZ or Austin, TX
!
This position will support the definition, planning, and execution of the portfolio of initiatives under the Digital Transformation (DT) Program and will report directly to the Head of the DT Program. Initiatives span manufacturing and supply chain, sales and account operations, product development, services, and corporate functions, encompassing both business processes and systems/tools. The role requires expertise in manufacturing and supply chain and will periodically support other activities (strategy, M&A, and ELT Chief of Staff activities) in support of the SVP of Corporate Strategy and Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Baseline the current state of initiatives and governance
- Understand the current stage of identified initiatives (e.g., concept phase, planned, in-flight)
- Take inventory of information pertaining to initiative charter, team membership, scope, business processes, systems, initiative plan, governance, KPI, and value case
- Assess key challenges facing initiatives and develop mitigations
- Identify new initiatives and develop a roadmap
- Identify pain points and initiatives based on stakeholder discussions, interviews, and existing assessments of enterprise capabilities, processes, and systems
- Prioritize and sequence initiatives, identify dependencies, and develop a transformation roadmap
- Develop details for initiatives, determine resource and investment requirements, and build a value case for an executable roadmap
- Execute initiatives following project management standards
- Define and execute a structured approach to managing initiatives using existing templates and guidelines
- Launch or relaunch initiatives, ensuring proper resource alignment and task details
- Execute project phases, implement improvements, and validate progress toward the value case
- Prioritize and manage issues as they arise
- Provide hands‑on support to overcome high‑priority issues
- Continuously refine and update initiative charters and plans using appropriate change controls
- Continuously develop and refine program management techniques
- Provide thought leadership by leveraging experience in manufacturing and supply chain
- Offer expertise during initiative definition, planning, and road mapping
- Support execution of initiatives with manufacturing and supply chain knowledge
- Collect and provide initiative data and information for management review
- Deliver status details per standard communication formats
- Work with initiative owners to update timelines, resources, and outcomes
- Schedule and deliver initiative reviews at key milestones
- Maintain initiative documentation in a shared repository
Skills and Abilities
- Proven program management track record, including large‑scale, cross‑enterprise programs that span business process and technology transformation
- Strong experience and functional knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain, with familiarity in sales/account operations, product development, services, and corporate functions
- Robust strategic and analytical thinking; ability to distill complex data into actionable recommendations
- Strong senior presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills for cross‑functional collaboration
- Proven ability to align initiatives, manage cross‑functional teams, and ensure disciplined execution of top priorities
