Subcontracts Specialist

Talascend is currently seeking a Subcontracts Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona
.

This role involves taking ownership of securing parts under contract within a FAR Part 15 environment, establishing long-term agreements, and ensuring compliance with acquisition regulations. The position supports the end-to-end cycle of FAR
15 proposals and subcontracts, focusing on government sourcing and negotiation.

• Execute FAR
  15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and applicable regulations
• Build strong negotiation positions for contract execution
• Manage key program suppliers
• Mentor and train team members
• Develop supplier strategies to deliver best overall value
• Support proposal development, fulfillment, and negotiations for subcontracts or long-term purchase orders
• Work closely with the pricing organization and negotiate with suppliers to secure FAR
  15 compliant subcontracts

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, business, or finance
• US person due to contractual requirements
• Subcontracting experience (FAR
  15)
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong negotiation skills and processes
• Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
