Job Overview
Join Intel as a Commodity Manager and play a key role in shaping Intel's global supply chain strategies to support the development of world‑class products and services. This position is integral to ensuring business continuity, driving supplier innovation, and aligning suppliers with Intel's strategic objectives. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to create sustainable, cost‑effective solutions that meet Intel's evolving business needs and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative commodity strategies that align supplier capabilities with Intel's business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Manage supplier relationships, driving collaboration and innovation to improve cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions.
- Conduct industry and market analysis to proactively identify opportunities and address upcoming supply chain needs.
- Negotiate and execute contracts that ensure predictable cost, quality, and availability while adhering to Intel's procurement policies.
- Lead periodic reviews of commodity sourcing strategies and adjust approaches to reflect changing market conditions and business requirements.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams, including finance and legal, to address commercial and contractual challenges with suppliers.
- Drive supplier sustainability and regulatory compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with Intel's corporate standards.
- Utilize data analysis and visualization tools to support strategic decision‑making and optimize supply chain solutions.
- Facilitate risk mitigation strategies to safeguard business continuity and supplier performance.
- Influence design decisions to optimize cost and ensure alignment with Intel's product/service goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience or Master's Degree with experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related area.
- 1+ years of experience in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, or risk mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Intel's global supply chain methodologies, systems, and forecast capacity planning.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to address supply chain challenges and drive solutions.
- Knowledge of sourcing and inventory management tools and processes.
- Experience leading supplier escalations and resolving constraints through task force initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem‑solving skills to address complex supply chain scenarios.
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities, with a focus on building relationships and influencing at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis and market intelligence tools to support sourcing decisions.

Annual Salary Range: $107,990 - $152,460 USD (US locations). Salary based on location and experience; recruiter can share specific range for your preferred location.
