Job Description
As a Sr Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in managing procurement projects and driving strategic sourcing initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that procurement activities align with business objectives while optimizing costs and supplier performance. You will report directly to our Procurement Manager and work from our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and drive cost savings. Supplier management of complex suppliers, customer-focused recovery strategies, and execution of supplier performance.
- Manage complex procurement projects from initiation to completion, including digital transformation, integration of AI, and testing of new procurement digital tools.
- Develop training and roll out integration plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities support business objectives and operational needs.
You Must Have:
- 8+ years of experience in procurement and project management.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and data analytics tools.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet project objectives.
