Senior Buyer

Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating materials, equipment, and services from approved vendors. Evaluates supplier capabilities, pricing, and performance to ensure best value or lowest price/technically acceptable while maintaining compliance with government regulations, including FAR/DFARS.

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company policies and government regulations (FAR/DFARS).
• Analyze vendor quotes, proposals, and service offerings to identify the most cost-effective and compliant solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value.
• Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to support quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
• Ensure procurement activities follow established procedures, internal controls, and compliance standards.

• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Working knowledge of government procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS).
• Ability to follow established processes and operate effectively under supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Strategic mindset with strong problem‑solving and process improvement skills.
• Analytical, data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Works under general supervision with defined guidelines and procedures.
• Reports to Procurement Manager or Sr Procurement Manager.
