Deal Design Consultant
Supports the Sales organization in structuring, evaluating, and executing commercial agreements across North America. Works with pricing strategy, configuration, and financial alignment while ensuring compliance with governance and pricing frameworks.
Responsibilities- Support Sales in developing and executing deal strategies for small to mid‑scale customer opportunities.
- Independently structure, analyze, and approve single‑site and lower‑risk commercial agreements, providing support on complex multi‑site deals and formal RFPs.
- Serve as a primary execution partner to field Sales, owning end‑to‑end quote creation, configuration, iteration, and maintenance in
- Act as a central point of coordination for quote requests, including intake, scoping validation, build, revision, and resubmission.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Pricing, Finance, Service, and Contracts to validate assumptions, perform financial and margin analysis, and ensure timely, accurate deal execution.
- Support deal governance by reviewing assigned deals for accuracy, completeness, data quality, and adherence to standard processes and approval requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by maintaining Salesforce data hygiene, tracking quote activity and turnaround times, and supporting standardized quoting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, commercial operations, sales operations, contract development, or a related function.
- Working knowledge of commercial deal structures, pricing methodologies, and financial analysis.
- Experience supporting or working within CPQ systems;
Oracle CPQ preferred. - Ability to operate effectively in a cross‑functional, matrixed environment.
- Comfort operating in a high‑volume, fast‑paced sales environment with multiple concurrent quote requests and deadlines.
- Hands‑on experience building and managing quotes, opportunities, and customer records within
- Supporting formal RFP responses or customer pricing proposals.
- Exposure to healthcare, diagnostics, or laboratory environments.
- Awareness of IDN customer structures or multi‑site commercial agreements.
- Experience in Pre‑Sales, Inside Sales, Sales Operations, or Commercial Enablement roles.

CompensationSalary range: $100,000–$125,000. The role may also be eligible for incentive pay.
