Procurement Buyer I
As a Procurement Buyer I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement and purchasing activities by assisting in the buying process, supplier coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop procurement skills and contribute to the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our supply chain operations.
In this role, you will impact the organization's ability to maintain a reliable supply chain by supporting procurement activities that ensure quality and cost-effective purchasing, helping to meet project timelines and business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in the purchasing process including supplier selection, order placement, and follow-up to ensure timely delivery.
- Support procurement activities by maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to orders, delivery, and quality.
- Experience or knowledge in procurement or supply chain support roles.
- Familiarity with purchasing processes and supplier coordination.
- Basic proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and develop procurement expertise.
- Good problem-solving skills and adaptability.
