About The Role
Senior Manager, Insurance Growth Strategic Implementation – responsible for leading end‑to‑end execution of high‑priority insurance growth initiatives, from concept through go‑live and transition to steady‑state ownership. Serves as the primary driver of execution for complex, cross‑functional implementations, taking full accountability of day‑to‑day program management and execution. Initiatives include new partnerships, reciprocity arrangements, and net‑new product launches.
Work LocationTempe, Arizona – hybrid schedule with three in‑office days per week (Thursdays mandatory, remaining days flexible).
Pay TransparencyBase pay ranges from $134,136 to $176,053 per year. Responsibilities- Drive end‑to‑end operational excellence using a cross‑functional lens, measuring, monitoring, and reducing operational, financial, compliance, and regulatory risks to ensure efficient, repeatable processes.
- Manage large, multi‑disciplinary work groups that support and optimize program processes while improving visibility.
- Lead, oversee, and coordinate various projects, products, and strategic initiatives.
- Leverage subject‑matter expertise to drive program standardization, operationalization, issue resolution, and root‑cause analysis in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
- Develop, present, and maintain executive reporting materials to educate senior leadership on programs, projects, and contracting initiatives.
- Develop expertise in methodologies, major terms, and operations required for program execution.
- Identify risks and improvement opportunities to develop and implement new programs.
- Organize and catalog meeting notes, action items, decisions, and follow‑ups for leadership meetings.
- Perform additional contracting and operational implementation tasks as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Own execution of strategic growth initiatives from intake through implementation, launch, and transition to run‑state teams.
- Translate strategic concepts into executable plans with clear milestones, owners, and deliverables.
- Drive adherence to enterprise timelines, including filings and regulatory milestones.
- Build and manage integrated project plans across product, network, regulatory, tech, operations, and vendor teams.
- Identify, track, and actively manage cross‑functional dependencies, risks, and critical path items.
- Drive proactive transparency across matrixed teams to surface risks and bottlenecks early, preventing downstream delays.
- Serve as the central coordination point across internal teams and external partners/vendors.
- Drive accountability to timelines, quality, and outcomes across all contributing teams and vendors.
- Facilitate working sessions, readiness reviews, and execution checkpoints.
- Drive go‑live readiness, including operational, technical, regulatory, and vendor preparedness.
- Support Command Center and launch activities, ensuring rapid issue identification and resolution.
- Define implementation completion parameters and facilitate structured handoff to operations, ensuring clear run‑state accountability.
- Enforce standardized implementation processes, governance, and documentation practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency, reduce rework, and enhance scalability.
- Contribute to development of playbooks for repeatable growth initiative execution.
- Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of commensurate experience.
- 6+ years of program or project management experience, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or highly regulated industries.
- 6+ years of change management, process improvement, and implementation experience.
- 6+ years of experience solving health plan operational problems.
