Business Analyst, AI Business & Operations, Business Systems & Technology Analysis
Job location: Remote in India
About the role: The Associate Product Manager will work as part of the Digitization and Automation team to help Sun King design, develop, and implement intelligent, tech-enabled solutions to solve a wide variety of business problems.
We are looking for candidates who have an AIfirst approach to product management. The ideal candidate instinctively reaches for an LLM before opening a document, prototypes before writing specifications, and treats can AI do this better” as the first question rather than an afterthought.
This role covers endtoend product management: requirements gathering, workflow design, testing, stakeholder coordination, and rollouts. The expectation is that all of these responsibilities are executed in an AIfirst way: faster, sharper, and built to scale.
What you will be expected to do: 1. Product Discovery & Problem Framing- Work with stakeholders including customers, agents, operations, field teams, and business leads to identify workflow pain points.
- Document opportunities as structured briefs rather than simple ticket descriptions.
- Use AI to synthesize inputs, identify patterns, and convert ambiguity into actionable solutions.
- Build working proofsofconcept using LLM APIs, automation tools, or lightweight scripts.
- Validate whether an AIfirst approach solves the problem effectively.
- Ship quickly and learn even faster.
- Create sharp, handoffready documentation such as use cases, flow charts, PRDs, and system requirements.
- Use AI in documentation workflows but ensure accuracy by catching errors that AI may introduce.
- Coordinate releases, manage testing, and track adoption.
- Resolve stakeholder queries and issues through Whats App, ticketing tools, and email.
- Own rollout sequencing and ensure readiness across teams.
- Identify repetitive business processes and automate them using reliable tools.
- Perform regular analytics to track, monitor, and drive product usage.
- Work closely with cross functional groups and the development team throughout the product lifecycle.
- Keep stakeholders informed at every stage.
Travel as required to Sun King markets, including Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Myanmar, and Tanzania.
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are:- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
- 1–3 years of prior professional experience in product management, automation, or related technology roles.
- Handson experience with SQL.
- A Git Hub profile or portfolio with shipped prototypes, automations, or internal tools.
- Evidence of LLM and AI foundations (Anthropic courses, fast.ai, Deep Learning.AI, or equivalent selflearning).
- Experience working with data to track and push product usage.
- Ability to structure and analyze ambiguous problems.
- Clear communication skills across workflows, feature descriptions, Slack messages, and stakeholder updates.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to get handson.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Professional growth in a dynamic, rapidly expanding, high-social-impact industry
- An open-minded, collaborative culture made up of enthusiastic colleagues who are driven by the challenge of innovation towards profound impact on people and the planet.
- A truly multicultural experience: you will have the chance to work with and learn from people from different geographies, nationalities, and backgrounds.
- Structured, tailored learning and development programs that help you become a better leader, manager, and professional through the Sun King Center for Leadership.
