The right person will shape how employees ramp up, stay compliant, and grow into stronger technical and people leadership roles, all while helping create a safer, more capable, and more efficient manufacturing environment.
WhatYou Will Do
- Guide on-site training efforts that enhance team effectiveness, reinforce core practices, and support ongoing improvement.
- Partner with operations, quality, EHS, and HR leaders to identify capability gaps and convert them into structured training roadmaps.
- Own the learning management environment, training records, and reporting processes to support compliance, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Establish training standards and coach frontline experts to deliver consistent instruction across shifts and work areas.
- Measure program effectiveness using completion rates, speed to proficiency, quality outcomes, and productivity trends, then refine content accordingly.
- Support controlled documentation practices for work instructions, SOPs, and related learning materials in a fast-paced production setting.
- Help prepare teams for internal and external audits by coordinating evidence, training status reviews, and follow up actions.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by aligning learning initiatives with operational priorities and workforce development goals.
- Degree in a relevant discipline such as education, HR, business, or operations, or comparable hands-on experience.
- Several years of experience involved in training or workforce development within manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or similar environments.
- Working knowledge of safety and compliance training requirements in a production setting.
- Familiarity with overseeing LMS systems, organizing training materials, and reporting on program performance.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Ability to influence across departments and support both hourly and salaried employee populations.
- Strong organizational and project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations.
