Utility Business Analyst

Location:

Phoenix, AZ – Hybrid FTE & Contract both

Successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Drive effective collaboration between business and technology teams.
• Deliver high-quality requirements and process documentation.
• Improve operational efficiency through process optimization.
• Support successful implementation of utility transformation initiatives.
• Ensure projects meet business objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting utility industry programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Experience in UAT planning and execution, Data analysis and reporting, Change management support, Stakeholder engagement
• Expertise in process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucid chart, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops with business and executive stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence, and SharePoint.
