Summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a full‑time Environmental Project Manager. The role requires planning, executing, reviewing, and finalizing environmental projects within deadlines and budget, supporting our Environmental practice with site assessments and related responsibilities. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, due diligence, or risk management-related services.

Essential Duties & Tasks
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Oversee quality control throughout the project’s life cycle
  • Coordinate the efforts of Partner team members to deliver projects according to plan
  • Build strong relationships with Team members and Clients to deliver quality within designated time frames
  • Mentor staff
  • Exhibit exposure and adaptability to several technical disciplines
Responsibilities
  • Manage the project from Proposal stage through submittal of the final report, including QA/QC of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
  • Generate proposals, engage subcontractors and field staff, monitor progress, and communicate with clients
  • Communicate project expectations (e.g., Client‑specific SOW, templates) to team members and staff in a timely, clear manner
  • Provide recommendations to relationship managers and clients on assessment impacts on transaction processes
  • Identify and resolve project issues
  • Deliver progress reports and recommendations to relationship manager and Client
  • Manage client follow‑up, questions, and concerns
  • Coordinate follow‑up questions with field staff during the review process
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members
  • Respond to client requests for scope changes and address revisions
  • Facilitate delivery of final report and invoice
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of ASTM‑1527‑21, Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process, and Phase II/ Site Investigation process
  • Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proven ability to deliver a quality product on time
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
  • Understanding of environmental consulting related to risk management and due diligence
  • Proficiency in project estimating/proposals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, or a related technical discipline from an accredited university
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, due diligence, or risk management‑related services
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Must communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Visual acuity adequate to read printed sources and computer screens
Compensation

The pay scale considers a wide range of factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. The disclosed pay estimate has not been adjusted for geographic location. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus program based on individual and organizational performance.
