The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Statewide Reporting Supervisor. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services provide individuals with opportunities to exercise their rights and responsibilities of independent decision-making and engagement in the community.
Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by the DDD Office of Licensing Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have a spouse or close family with principal interest in a DDD Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a DDD Qualified Vendor.
Job Duties:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervises Incident Reporting Specialist, by ensuring completion of accurate, comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) reports, completion of follow-up to corrective action plans; reviews reports to ensure accuracy and guarantees that a comprehensive investigations are conducted and documented.
- Provide technical assistance and training to Division of Developmental Disabilities (Division/DDD) staff and provider agencies to ensure federal, state, and contractual requirements are met.
- Reviews Fact Finding Reports, and Notifications of Findings assuring timely, accurate and appropriate documentation.
- Identifies trends/patterns and make recommendations related to member care; assist in development and implementation of policies.
- Drives to a licensed residential setting. Completes on-site monitoring and face to face interviews with members and Qualified Vendor staff, and complete chart audits.

- Principles and rights associated with filed of developmental disabilities
- Investigative practices, interviewing techniques, and risk management practices
- Federal and State laws and agency rules, regulations, policies, and procedures surrounding DDD practices

- Leading a team and maintaining professionalism in stressful situations
- Prioritizing and multi-tasking to meet time lines
Abilities of:
- Evaluate, access, review data, situations, and documents; apply to policy, laws, rules, and regulations

- Write clear and succinct regulatory interpretations and correspondence
- Read and interpret policy, procedures, and contracts
