Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive and enhance ethics objectives across the organization. The role involves leading investigations, strengthening whistleblowing processes, and ensuring supplier compliance programs are aligned with global standards. This is a corporation-wide remit with high visibility across leadership teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Ethics:- Lead and deliver organizational ethics and speak up objectives.
- Partner with divisional/functional leadership to embed ethics culture.
- Manage investigations end-to-end, ensuring timely outcomes and follow-up actions.
- Prepare reports and insights for senior stakeholders including Board and leadership teams.
- Identify ethical risks proactively and mitigate them using cross-functional collaboration and technology.
- Review and monitor supplier code programs in line with strategic plans.
- Resolve compliance issues post audits and investigations.
- Provide guidelines and communication support to procurement teams.
- Anticipate high-risk suppliers/countries/issues and report periodically to senior stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in digital tools for supplier code monitoring and alerts.
- Support Group Internal Audit on risk and ethics matters.
- Manage fraud risk reporting, resolution, and action planning.
- At least 7 years of experience in internal controls, risk management, or internal audit.
- Strong investigation skills with ability to manage sensitive matters.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex issues and influence at all organizational levels.
- Self-starter with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) with 7+ years post-qualification experience.
- Experience managing whistleblowing channels or ethics hotlines.
- Strong presentation and writing skills.
- Ability to apply judgment in ambiguous situations.
