Key Responsibilities
- Lead Inventory & Distribution:
Supervise all ordering, receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities for goods arriving at the Center. - Mentor Future Professionals:
Supervise and guide Job Corps' Work-Based Learning students, providing them with hands-on training in inventory control and logistics. - Build and Develop Staff:
Interview, hire, train, and motivate property department employees while fostering a supportive and accountable work environment. - Collaborate Across Departments:
Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings with Finance and Purchasing to reconcile property records and resolve vendor issues - Ensure Federal Compliance:
Partner directly with the Federal Regional Property Officer to handle asset life cycles from initial receipt through annual certification and surplus disposal.

Qualifications:What You Bring to the Table
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; a degree or relevant certification from an accredited training program is preferred. - Experience:
Background in warehousing, inventory control, and federal government property requirements is highly preferred; prior supervisory experience is a plus. - Technical
Skills:
Computer literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite are required to manage electronic tracking systems. - Licensing: A valid in-state Driver's License is required, along with meeting company insurability standards.
- Physical Ability:
Capability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, reach, stoop, and crouch to manage and inspect inventory safely.
