Echelon Services is seeking Case Aides in all of Maricopa County.
Case Aides must be able to work with a diverse population in various settings and environments, adhere to an ethical code of conduct, remain objective, have excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to set and maintain professional boundaries, be organized and detail oriented, and be able to work various hours and schedules including evenings and weekends, in order to accommodate visitation requirements.
This position works remotely in the field throughout all of Maricopa County. You will be required to attend meetings, trainings and supervisions.
The ideal Case Aide would be a team player, have a great sense of humor, exercise good judgement and have previous experience working with children and/or families and/or Case Aide/Parent Aide experience.
Responsibility Overview- Case Aides use their personal vehicle to transport children to and from visits throughout Maricopa County.
- Case Aides supervise parenting time, to ensure safety, and document all interactions.
- Case Aides are required to provide guidance and coaching, report all allegations of abuse and end visits if they become unsafe.
- Case Aides communicate with Foster Families, Parents, and DCS Case Managers in coordination of services.
- Case Aides are part of a team and attend all company training, staff meeting's, team meeting's and monthly 1:1 supervisions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Transporting children to and from visits using employee’s personal vehicle is a significant part of the Case Aide position.
- Visits are often scheduled in the late afternoon, after school, evenings and weekends.
- Hours and schedules will change. Case Aides must be flexible and willing to accommodate client's needs. Case Aides do make their own schedule along with the needs of parents and foster families.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Degrees preferred.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Successful completion of state and agency training courses including DCS online training
- Must have valid First Aid / CPR certificates.
- Must have a valid Level 1 fingerprint clearance card and a clear Central Registry Background Check
- Must have a valid AZ Driver's license that has not been suspended or revoked due to a moving violation within the most recent thirty-nine (39) months.
- No more than six (6) points accumulated on driving record in the most recent thirty-nine (39) months.
- No at-fault accidents or DUI in the most recent thirty-nine (39) months
- Have not been placed on probation or parole for the last ten (10) years from date of hire
- Have no civil, criminal, or juvenile restraining orders within the last ten (10) years from date of hire.
- Must have safe reliable transportation, with proof of current insurance with 100/300 minimum liability limits.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the Human Service Field (i.e. Group Home, Shelter Care, Behavioral Health Home), working with children and/or families.
- Must not have any open or closed case with any child protective agency in any jurisdiction
• Have a clear/negative pre-employment drug test result, as well as a clear/negative random drug test biennially, from the date of hire. Screening should be at a minimum regulated five (5) panel urine test. DCS prohibits all contractors, sub-contractors and anyone else working under this contract to use marijuana or be under the influence of marijuana when providing services to ADCS.
