Overview

Are you an experienced Superintendent with a passion for delivering high-quality commercial projects? Our client, a reputable and growing Commercial General Contractor based in Phoenix, is seeking a skilled Superintendent to join their team.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of fast-paced commercial builds, including restaurants, fast food outlets, and coffee shops
. The projects mainly include tenant improvements (TI)—ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the construction site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
  • Coordinate daily site operations and logistics, including scheduling subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Review and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution
  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues to avoid delays or cost overruns
  • Conduct daily site meetings and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders
  • Monitor and document progress through daily reports, photos, and updates to the project management team
  • Ensure quality control throughout all phases of construction
  • Work closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and clients to keep projects on track
  • Mentor and supervise field crews and subcontractors to maintain productivity and high standards
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Background in building restaurants, fast food outlets, or coffee shops is highly desirable
  • Experience managing tenant improvement projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety procedures
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs and lead teams in a fast-paced environment
