Construction Safety Manager
Job Description
As a Construction Safety Manager, you will play a vital role in developing and enforcing safety programs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This is a local, full-time job working directly with the building owner. Per diem is NOT offered. Relocation assistance can be negotiated.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and enforce corporate safety programs to ensure compliance with federal (OSHA), state, and local regulations.
* Mentor and oversee Safety Managers, providing leadership and guidance.
* Coordinate and lead subcontractor Pre-Construction Safety Planning Meetings, ensuring field compliance.
* Review subcontractors' Site-Specific Safety Programs and Job Hazard Analyses before mobilization.
* Conduct regular site evaluations, identify deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
* Monitor subcontractor Toolbox Talks for documentation accuracy and quality standards.
* Investigate job site incidents using root cause analysis techniques and develop preventive measures.
* Ensure subcontractors provide proper training to their employees based on the scope of work.
* Perform routine construction site audits and random patrols to ensure safety compliance.
Essential Skills
* 8+ years of experience in Construction Health and Safety.
* Professional CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification.
* Bachelor's degree in Construction, Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
* Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state safety and health regulations.

Work Environment
The position is based at our Phoenix, Arizona facility, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, either 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Overtime hours may be required depending on the demands of construction. You will be working at the most advanced semiconductor fab in the United States, which offers a dynamic and innovative work environment.
The facility will operate leading-edge semiconductor process technology, ensuring a steady and large workload for years to come. Members of the team are expected to embody core values:

Compensation and Duration
This position will be employed directly by the project owner, with a target salary of $,000/year and 18% annual bonus. Additional perks and benefits will be offered. This team has 10 years of work already planned for this site in Phoenix, and candidates are expected to live nearby full-time to support that workload. Relocation assistance can be provided. Per diem will not be offered.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
