Salary Range: $30.00 To $40.00 Hourly

As a Paver Operator at Gonzalez Asphalt, you will be responsible for operating paving equipment to lay down asphalt on roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces. You will ensure the smooth operation of the paver and adherence to quality and safety standards.

• Operate paver machinery to spread and level asphalt on roadways and parking lots.
• Monitor and control the distribution and alignment of asphalt.
• Inspect, maintain, and perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Coordinate with the paving crew to ensure the seamless flow of materials.
• Ensure work meets quality specifications and complies with safety regulations.
• Adjust machine settings to correct deviations and achieve desired results.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to optimize operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment around the equipment.

• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
