This is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ for an Asphalt Salesman/Estimator. The role involves identifying potential clients, preparing detailed project estimates, building and maintaining client relationships, and generating sales for asphalt paving services. The Asphalt Salesman/Estimator will conduct site visits to assess project requirements, create bids, manage project proposals, and collaborate with project teams to ensure client needs are met.

The role additionally involves staying informed on market trends within the paving industry.

• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Proficiency in project estimation, bid preparation, and reading technical documents or blueprints
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer needs and expectations
• Basic knowledge of the asphalt paving industry and familiarity with market trends
• Time management and organizational skills for handling multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office; experience with estimation software is a plus
• Driver's license and willingness to travel locally as required
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction or sales are a plus
