United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 2020. UIS is a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan) which was founded in Taiwan in 1982. UIS is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company. We provide fully integrated design-build services to our clients in the high-technology industry for their manufacturing facility needs. Our scope of services includes engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery in which clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up, are all vital parts in need of total coordination.

Summary

The Project Support Coordinator assists in the day-to-day operations of active construction sites, serving as a key support resource for site leadership. This role provides hands-on exposure to subcontractor coordination, safety and quality compliance, schedule management, and project documentation, offering an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to build the foundational skills needed to further their career. Success in this position directly contributes to projects being delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the oversight of subcontractors and construction workers, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
  • Help support and organize site logistics to optimize workflow and minimize disruption to project schedules.
  • Coordinate the delivery, staging, and storage of materials and equipment.
  • Serve as a communication liaison between the Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, subcontractors, and site workers.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving on-site issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the enforcement of safety protocols and procedures to maintain a compliant and hazard-free work environment.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and site inspections, helping to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Assist in ensuring all site activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor project progress against established milestones and escalate deviations to site leadership as needed.
  • Assist in conducting inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship throughout construction.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of site activities, including work progress, safety incidents, and material deliveries.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting project status reports, flagging delays or issues as they arise.
  • Support the preparation and submission of required project documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED; bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams) (preferred).
  • Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
  • Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin (preferred).
Additional Requirements
  • Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
