Superintendent, Construction

* Promote and enforce a culture of safety on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and implementing proactive safety measures to prevent accidents.

* Assist in the day-to-day management of construction operations, overseeing designated sections of the project, specific trade groups, or smaller subcontractor teams.

* Collaborate on project scheduling, coordinate the timely delivery of materials, and manage site logistics to keep projects on track.

* Lead all quality control efforts, ensuring construction activities adhere to plans, specifications, and industry standards.

* Provide consistent updates to project stakeholders, delivering daily reports on site activities, progress, challenges, and solutions.

* Identify, address, and resolve any on-site issues or delays that may impact project milestones or timelines.

* Collaborate with Human Resources to address discipline and employee relations concerns, ensuring that all team members are treated fairly and equitably.

* Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage open communication.

* Promote Suntec's core principles to cultivate a collaborative, accountable work culture and create an ESOP mindset that emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and long-term investment.

* 3+ years of experience in construction leadership, including experience as a Foreman

* Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment operation, and OSHA safety protocols

* Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead small teams or subcontractor groups, driving project success through effective delegation and supervision.

* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement quick, effective solutions to maintain project momentum.

* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), capable of clearly conveying project status, concerns, and progress to a diverse range of stakeholders, including project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

* Familiarity with project management tools and ability to maintain accurate records, schedules, and reports for project tracking and regulatory purposes.
