This role is ideal for an experienced electrical construction leader with an active Arizona electrical contractor license who can manage electricians and field personnel in a fast-paced industrial construction environment.
Position: Licensed C11 Electrical Superintendent
Location: North Phoenix, AZ
Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Schedule: 40-50 hours per week; overtime as project needs require
Pay Range: $55-$60/hr DOE
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Lead daily electrical construction activities and oversee field execution on-site.
- Supervise and coordinate electricians, general labor, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews.
- Support electrical scopes related to new construction, power distribution, conduit, low-voltage systems, and related MEP coordination.
- Manage manpower assignments, daily schedules, work sequencing, material deliveries, and equipment staging.
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, electrical codes, licensing requirements, and project scope.
- Identify and resolve field conflicts, installation concerns, scheduling delays, and productivity issues in coordination with project leadership.
- Enforce OSHA, project-specific safety, PPE, and jobsite safety requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong safety-first culture across field personnel.
- Maintain clean and organized jobsite conditions consistent with semiconductor construction expectations.
- Complete or oversee daily reports, site progress updates, inspections, walkthroughs, and field documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, client representatives, and site stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on electrical leadership and problem-solving throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Serve as an available Arizona electrical license resource as future project or business needs require.
- Active Arizona C11 / CR-11 Electrical Contractor License required.
- 7+ years of commercial, industrial, or high-tech electrical construction experience.
- Prior experience as an Electrical Superintendent, General Superintendent, Foreman, Electrical Operations Lead, or similar field leadership role.
- Strong experience leading electrical field personnel and coordinating daily construction activities.
- Experience with new construction electrical work, conduit, power distribution, electrical installations, and field quality oversight.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, manpower planning, trade coordination, and project execution.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Semiconductor, cleanroom, data center, mission-critical, industrial, or complex facility construction experience preferred.
- TSMC or similar semiconductor site experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems, exhaust systems, or MEP piping coordination is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, jobsite safety, field inspections, and quality requirements.
- Reliable, hands-on leader who is comfortable working full-time on-site in a changing project environment.
- Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
