Intern — Sales & Business Development
Miranda Development is seeking a driven, detail-oriented intern to support the growth of our counter top and finish carpentry division.
This internship is ideal for someone interested in the business side of construction who wants hands‑on exposure to sales, business development, client relations, estimating, and project coordination. The role is designed to provide real‑world experience in how construction opportunities are generated, priced, proposed, and managed from the early sales stage through project handoff.
The main focus of this internship will be supporting new business development, building industry relationships, assisting with proposals and bids, and helping improve the systems that support the continued growth of the division.
You will work alongside our team and gain exposure to clients, vendors, material suppliers, construction plans, takeoffs, pricing, and internal project workflows. No prior experience is required. Miranda Development will provide hands‑on training in sales processes, estimating basics, counter top fabrication, finish carpentry, and construction project coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with identifying and organizing new business opportunities.
- Help build and maintain relationships with builders, designers, contractors, and other industry partners.
- Support material takeoffs and basic cost estimating for counter top projects and related carpentry work.
- Assist with bid preparation, proposals, and project pricing.
- Communicate with vendors to gather material costs, availability, and specifications.
- Help organize project information, client details, bid notes, and follow-up tasks.
- Support the counter top division by helping improve workflow, estimating accuracy, and sales tracking.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure proposals align with project needs, design intent, and production requirements.
- Represent Miranda Development with professionalism, attention to detail, and accountability.
This is an unpaid internship position intended to provide hands‑on learning, training, and industry experience. The position may be eligible for school credit depending on the requirements of the intern’s academic program.
