Job OverviewMarketech International Corporation USA is seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to support construction, site preparation, material movement, housekeeping, and installation support activities within a semiconductor fabrication construction environment.
This role supports skilled trades, field teams, technicians, electricians, pipe fitters, and project personnel by assisting with daily site tasks, material handling, cleanliness standards, and basic construction support. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a cleanroom, sub‑fab, or high‑tech construction environment.
General Laborers will play an important role in keeping the worksite organized, safe, clean, and efficient while supporting semiconductor construction and installation activities.
Key Responsibilities Material Handling and Logistics- Load, unload, transport, and stage materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist with moving materials throughout the construction site, cleanroom, sub‑fab, and support areas.
- Spot lifts, cranes, and forklifts during material movement to help ensure safe operations.
- Maintain proper material storage and organization to support field execution.
- Help prevent material contamination by following handling and cleanliness requirements.
- Clean and prepare work areas before, during, and after construction activities.
- Remove debris, dust, packaging, and waste materials from work areas.
- Maintain clean pathways, staging areas, and work zones.
- Support cleanliness requirements in sensitive semiconductor construction environments.
- Help ensure particles, debris, and contaminants do not enter controlled areas.
- Assist electricians, technicians, pipe fitters, installers, and other trades with basic support tasks.
- Hold, carry, position, and organize materials for installation work.
- Support basic assembly, tool setup, and teardown activities.
- Assist with temporary structures, barriers, scaffolding support, and general construction setup as needed.
- Support electrical system, cleanroom, sub‑fab, and AMHS installation activities under supervision.
- Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and cleanroom gowning procedures.
- Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and daily coordination meetings as required.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, spills, or damaged materials.
- Follow environmental controls and contamination‑prevention procedures.
- Maintain a safe and professional work area at all times.
- Assist with demolition, setup, cleanup, and general construction activities as needed.
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment under supervision.
- Support worksite logistics, moving tasks, and general field coordination.
- Follow directions from supervisors, foremen, project teams, and site leads.
- Perform other general labor duties assigned to support project execution.
- Work in controlled environments that may require cleanroom attire, smocks, PPE, or gowning.
- Maintain clean entry and exit protocols for materials and personnel.
- Support installation activities in sensitive or restricted work areas.
- Follow procedures designed to reduce contamination risk.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass required background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work safely in a construction or industrial environment.
- Strong reliability, attendance, and work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support multiple trades.
- Willingness to work in cleanroom, sub‑fab, and semiconductor construction environments.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, gowning, and safety equipment.
- Previous general labor, construction, warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience working around construction sites, tools, materials, or skilled trades.
- Semiconductor, cleanroom, fab, sub‑fab, industrial, or high‑tech construction experience.
- OSHA 30 certification.
