Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Stantec, we help deliver the critical minerals needed to power our world, from the cars we drive to the infrastructure powering our communities. We design the largest, deepest, and most technically challenging mines in the world – doing it sustainably by reducing energy usage, adopting clean energy sources, and implementing digital solutions and automation.

Your Opportunity

Stantec is seeking a construction leader with field experience in the mining sector. This person will oversee construction management activities on mining projects in the Arizona area.

After being onboarded, this person may have the opportunity to work on more than one site, collaborating with a mining team that provides oversight of a construction contractor’s execution.

Most of your time will be on site; however, you may occasionally be required to visit the Stantec offices. Qualified candidates will have relevant field experience and have worked on projects that included above‑ground, below‑ground, and shaft, headframe, and hoist house related construction activity.

This is a leadership role, including daily interaction with the client, the Stantec team, workers, general contractors, and subcontractors. Work schedules will be project‑dependent and determined closer to assignment. We are seeking candidates that reside in or near Arizona or are willing to relocate or can travel to remote site locations and the PMO offices.
