We have a customer in Phoenix, AZ who has multiple long‑term, TEMP to HIRE staffing needs throughout mining and construction sites in AZ for Civil, Geotechnical and Environmental Field Technicians. If you or any of your friends or colleagues are interested in this position, please click APPLY NOW.
In these roles you will work as Field Technician performing observation, documentation and sampling and testing of a variety of mining and construction project materials including aggregate, concrete, asphalt, reinforced concrete, masonry and others.
These positions offer additional training for candidates to secure Certifications in MSHA, ACI, ATTI, ICCs and others. These roles also offer opportunities for candidates to work 10-20 hours of overtime/week including overtime rates.
- These positions are long‑term TEMP‑HIRE with out‑of‑town positions offering daily per diem for food and lodging
- AAS or BS Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering or similar
- Previous experience working in the field -- in school/classes or on the job
- Previous experience or ability to do field observation, note taking/documentation, field sample collection and testing for mining and construction materials (aggregates, soils, concrete, asphalt, etc)
- Interest and willingness to gain Certifications in MSHA, ACI, ATTI, ICCs, etc.
- Candidates must have Clean MVR/Driving record, good work ethic and like working in the field and be willing to work overtime (compensated) as needed
