Project Engineer, Estimator

Ironmark Building Co. is looking for a commercial construction Project Engineer (PE) to join our team in the greater Phoenix area!

• Facilitate permitting and city‑government coordination for all project phases.
• Coordinate and distribute submittals and shop drawings through project completion.
• Support field management with scheduling of projects and subcontractors.
• Track RFIs and submittal documents.
• Schedule, attend, and take minutes at project meetings.
• Assist in development of punch lists and follow‑up to ensure timely completion.
• Assist with project take‑offs, bidding, and estimating from start to finish.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, and related documents.
• Gather and monitor all project‑related information.
• Estimate and perform quantity take‑offs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent technical training and experience.
• Experience in ground‑up commercial construction.
• Basic knowledge of all construction aspects and industry practices, processes, and standards.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel; preferred use of Procore, Timberline, Sage, and On‑Screen Takeoff.
• Self‑starter with a positive attitude, strong learning drive, and ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capacity to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills for frequent interaction with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Ability to present information and communicate proactively and effectively, including written, verbal, and mathematical reports.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and access to a vehicle.
