Project Engineer- Heavy Civil & Bridge Construction

Job Summary

A leading heavy civil contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of transportation, bridge, roadway, and infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced project teams while gaining exposure to all phases of construction from preconstruction through project closeout.

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and cost tracking
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners
• Track quantities, production rates, and project progress
• Support project documentation, reporting, and contract administration
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements
• Participate in project meetings and field coordination efforts
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

• 1–5 years of experience in heavy civil, transportation, bridge, or infrastructure construction
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction software is a plus
