Safety Supervisor (Data Center / Commercial Construction)

Schedule:
50–60 hours/week (Mon‑Fri / Mon‑Sat rotations, 10‑hour shifts)
We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to support large‑scale data center and commercial construction projects in the Phoenix area. This role is responsible for enforcing safety standards, ensuring OSHA compliance, and promoting a strong culture of workplace safety across job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor job sites to ensure all personnel follow safe work practices and OSHA regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and correct potential hazards
- Lead and coordinate OSHA audits and evaluations
- Investigate incidents, injuries, and near‑misses; document findings and implement corrective actions
- Review construction plans and blueprints to ensure safety compliance
- Inspect tools, equipment, and materials to ensure safe usage
- Promote safety awareness and training among field teams
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures
- Perform ongoing risk assessments including hazard identification, analysis, and mitigation
- Maintain accurate documentation for all safety‑related activities
- Manage and distribute personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Gather feedback from field teams to continuously improve safety practices
- 3+ years of experience overseeing OSHA compliance and safety programs on construction sites
- 3+ years of experience actively monitoring job sites and enforcing safety procedures
- OSHA Certifications required: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500
- Experience in low‑voltage environments (structured cabling, Cat5/Cat6, cable pulling)
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment processes and hazard mitigation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with OSP (Outside Plant) environments
- Experience in structured cabling and telecom construction
- Data center project experience
- Fast‑paced construction and data center environment
- Long‑term project work with consistent hours and overtime opportunities

- Pay Rate: $35–$40/hour
