We are a commercial MEP company looking for a Piping Superintendent.

Job SummaryThe Commercial Piping Superintendent is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing all piping operations. This role leads manpower, ensures project execution aligns with scope, schedule, and budget, and maintains high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Responsibilities- Leads and manages all piping department operations
- Plans, staffs, and directs manpower to meet project timelines and operational demands
- Oversees project scope, schedule, and cost to ensure successful delivery
- Conducts job cost tracking, forecasting, and performance reviews
- Ensures all installations meet quality standards and project specifications
- Reviews submittals for accuracy and compliance
- Identifies and resolves field issues related to safety, production, and efficiency
- Maintains compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Builds and maintains strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Provides consistent project updates and resolves customer concerns
- Collaborates with internal departments including operations, estimating, and project management
- Identifies and implements prefabrication opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce cost
- Conducts regular site visits to monitor progress and performance
- Leads, mentors, and develops team members to improve performance and accountability
- Participates in hiring, workforce planning, and personnel decisions
- Minimum of 7+ years of commercial piping construction experience with at least 3+ years in a Superintendent or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of commercial piping systems, construction processes, safety standards, and applicable codes and regulations
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- AZ Journeyman/Journeywoman License (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
- Deep understanding of commercial pipe fitting
- Knowledge of construction codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage manpower, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
- Experience in cost control, budgeting, and job performance tracking
- Construction Management, Leadership & Team Development, Project Scheduling & Coordination, Budgeting & Cost Control, Quality Assurance, Safety Management, Client Relations
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), CAD/BIM Coordination
