United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 2020. UIS is a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan) which was founded in Taiwan in 1982. UIS is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company. We provide fully integrated design-build services to our clients in the high-technology industry for their manufacturing facility needs. Our scope of services includes engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery in which clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up, are all vital parts in need of total coordination.
Summary: The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of critical electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing complex electrical systems, daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Superintendent plays a critical role in driving project success and maintaining client satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
- Manage daily site operations, including supervising subcontractors and construction crews.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the construction site.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure all site activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor the quality of work performed on site to ensure it meets project specifications and standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Facilitate effective communication between project managers, subcontractors, and site workers.
- Provide regular updates on project status to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work progress, safety incidents, and deliveries.
- Prepare and submit reports on project status, including any delays or issues encountered.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/
Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED; bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in electrical systems supervision or construction drawing design for wafer fabrication facilities.
- Semiconductor facility experience is a plus
Skills and
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices, concerning Electrical scope.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
- Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Ability to work ina construction site environment (trailer office).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
