Site Manager, Construction Manager/ Foreman, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to support field operations for high-profile, ground-up projects across the thriving Phoenix market.
Working shoulder-to-shoulder with our Lead Superintendents and Project Management teams, you will gain hands‑on experience managing diverse builds across the office, healthcare, and industrial sectors. This is a high‑visibility, fast‑track role designed for someone with a strong work ethic, sharp problem‑solving skills, and the drive to eventually run their own jobsite.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be the right hand to the Lead Superintendent, keeping the site organized, safe, and moving forward. Your core duties include:
- Field Operations & Logistics: Assist with daily on‑site coordination, subcontractor management, material deliveries, and strategic staging layout.
- Schedule Support: Monitor project schedules, track critical milestones, and help maintain efficient, proactive trade sequencing.
- Safety & Quality Control: Conduct daily site walks to enforce a zero‑incident safety culture, maintain strict compliance with OSHA policies, and monitor structural quality.
- Site Inspections & Closeout: Coordinate municipal inspections, manage testing, and aggressively drive punch list activities to a successful closeout.
- Technical Documentation: Read blueprints and construction drawings to flag field issues early, track RFIs, and maintain immaculate daily logs, progress reports, and photo documentation.
We are looking for a detailed‑oriented field leader with a foundation in commercial builds and a desire to learn:
- Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on experience in commercial construction field operations (field engineer, trade background, or junior coordination).
- Project Scope: A background working on commercial ground‑up builds or large‑scale tenant improvements (TI) is highly preferred.
- Technical Foundations: A solid grasp of commercial construction methods, strong blueprint reading skills, and an understanding of trade sequencing.
- Tech Stack: Familiarity with modern construction management tools like Procore, Bluebeam, or scheduling software (MS Project).
