Sr. Electrical Project Manager
- Data Center Construction
- Phoenix, AZ

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of one large-scale project or multiple small- to medium-sized construction projects. This role provides leadership and technical oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle—from bid preparation and project startup through final closeout and turnover to the client.

The Senior Project Manager is accountable for all major project responsibilities and essential job functions. While specific tasks may be delegated to members of the project team, the Senior Project Manager retains overall responsibility for project performance, quality, safety, financial outcomes, and client satisfaction.

  • Provide leadership in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Manage contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project setup, planning, and execution.
  • Coordinate and schedule field labor and project resources.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and estimates.
  • Review and manage project documentation, submittals, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • Coordinate procurement activities and subcontractor management.
  • Monitor production, productivity, and project performance.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are met.
  • Manage project costs, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare cost-to-complete analyses and project forecasts.
  • Negotiate and administer project change orders.
  • Lead project closeout activities, including final documentation and client turnover.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or completion of a five-year electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience demonstrating a strong working knowledge of electrical construction.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience managing High-Tech or Mission Critical Data Center construction projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard business software.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, management, and project teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and follow company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and conduct.
  • Willingness to travel as project needs require.
