An established engineering and construction organization specializing in advanced industrial infrastructure is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join a high-profile semiconductor construction project in the Phoenix area. - Supervise daily electrical and instrumentation construction activities throughout all phases of the project.
- Coordinate multiple subcontractors to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality field execution.
- Review electrical plans, instrumentation diagrams, wiring schematics, and construction documentation to support accurate field installation and project execution.
- Monitor project progress while maintaining alignment with schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
- Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
- Review installation methods and assist with constructability planning to identify opportunities for improved project execution.
- Support project meetings involving owners, contractors, engineering teams, and subcontractors while helping resolve technical and scheduling issues.
Evaluate project correspondence, scope revisions, quality inspections, test results, and construction documentation to maintain project accuracy and compliance. - Coordinate material deliveries, equipment access, manpower planning, and construction sequencing.
- Verify electrical testing activities including continuity, insulation resistance, and related commissioning documentation.
- Promote OSHA compliance and reinforce a strong culture of safety throughout the project site.
- Mentor field personnel while fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or completion of a technical apprenticeship preferred.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years supervising commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Minimum of 3 years supporting commercial construction or semiconductor projects.
- Experience supervising industrial electrical and instrumentation construction projects.
- Proficient in reviewing electrical plans, instrumentation diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical documentation to support successful field execution.
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors while maintaining safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
- B-1 General Commercial Contractor license or actively pursuing licensure with applicable construction experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Experience supporting water treatment or process utility systems along with associated mechanical, electrical, and controls infrastructure.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency using common construction software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing facility construction.
- Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, and SEMI standards.
- Working knowledge of BIM platforms including Revit and Navisworks.
- Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese, Chinese, or English is considered an advantage.
