As a PROJECT ENGINEER
, you will be responsibleforthesuccessandtimelycompletionofconstructionprojectsbyensuringproperdocumentcontrol atthe projectsite officeforallphasesoftheconstructionproject.

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective and efficient document control, including daily construction job logs and monthly construction status reports.
  • Ensure an effective and efficient Request for Information (RFI)/change orders/shop drawings process is in place and all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Work directly with all sub-contractors and vendors to ensure quality and cost control.
  • Ensure project site and company assets are secure and maintain a safe and respectfulworkingenvironmentatalltimesbyimplementingsafety(OSHA) andrisk management standards.
  • Proactivelyidentifyissuesthatcouldleadtoproblemsandfacilitatesolutions
  • Create,update,andmaintainavarietyofprojectcontrolsthattrackthestatusofindividualprojectsor task orders, changesto projects.
  • Assist with the set up and processing of sub-contractor draws, payroll, materials,supplies, etc. andensurepropermaterialsinventory.
  • Assistinfinalcompletionviapunchlists,cleanand management turns.
  • In preparation for project completion, collect warranty material, create closeout documents to ensure an effective and efficient transition for project constructioncompletionandclose out.
  • Trackanddocumentallinspectionsandre-inspections;maintain the

    Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
  • Perform any relevant duties as assigned by the Construction Superintendent,Senior Project Engineer and/orProject

    Manager.
Qualifications
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in construction engineering
  • Multifamily housing experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing Procore and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Valid Driver’s License
Required Testing
  • Criminal Background Check, Non DOT Testing, MVR
