Ready to take the next step in your construction management career? We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing construction team and help deliver high-profile commercial construction projects throughout the Phoenix area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while working alongside experienced Project Managers. You'll gain exposure to project financials, subcontractor management, scheduling, client relationships, and field operations and building the skills needed to advance into a Project Manager role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager with all phases of commercial construction projects, from preconstruction through final closeout.
  • Support subcontractor bidding, buyout, contract administration, and procurement.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Track project budgets, commitments, cost reports, invoices, and pay applications.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication.
  • Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and help maintain project milestones.
  • Attend Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings and document meeting minutes and action items.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using Procore and other project management software.
  • Assist with permitting, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
  • Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer
  • Experience supporting ground-up commercial
    , tenant improvement (TI), or renovation projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent industry experience considered).
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation
