POSITION SUMMARY

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting both field and office operations in a fast-paced construction environment. This role works closely with the Project Superintendent, Project Managers, field crews, subcontractors, clients, and general contractors to help ensure projects remain on schedule, compliant with quality standards, and properly documented.

Candidates should have strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms. Experience in construction, fabrication, project coordination, QA/QC processes, or construction management is preferred. The successful candidate must be capable of managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with project stakeholders, and supporting field operations through detailed tracking and reporting.

  • QA/QC Support – Understanding of quality control processes, field inspections, punch-list management, and project compliance requirements.
  • Project Documentation Management – Skilled in maintaining RFIs, submittals, drawings, meeting minutes, inspection reports, action-item logs, and other project records.
  • Production Tracking & Reporting – Ability to monitor manpower, installed quantities, productivity metrics, and project progress while generating accurate reports.
  • Communication & Collaboration – Effectively communicates with clients, general contractors, project teams, field crews, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving – Identifies field constraints, potential schedule impacts, and construction challenges and assists in developing practical solutions.
  • Organization & Time Management – Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain detailed records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail – Accurately reviews project documentation, tracks action items, and identifies discrepancies or omissions before they become issues.
  • Technical Proficiency – Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and construction management software; able to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Drawing & Specification Interpretation – Ability to read and understand construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Meeting Coordination & Follow-Through – Captures meeting discussions, records assignments, tracks responsibilities, and ensures action items are completed.
