Summary:
Our current project, Home at Happy Valley, is a 226 Unit Multi-family community with 5 apartment buildings and a clubhouse.

Job Summary:The Pipelayer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid in the daily operations of the civil underground work on the construction site.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Installation and layout of underground water, sewer and storm pipes/conduit, under the Foreman’s direction.
- Preparation of work area for excavation of trenching.
- Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.
- Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools.
- Use and operate small power and hand tools.
- General clean up and removal of debris.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- 2+ year of experience working in the construction field - pipelayer
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Ability to work in hot weather conditions.
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Ability to handle physical labor and strenuous tasks.
- Able to stand and walk project site for extended period of times.
- Regularly talk and/or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
- Occasionally required to but not limited to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics and tunnels.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move at least 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
- Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- Must be able to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.
